6th Grade

Arrival Reminders:

• Students who need to eat breakfast at school should arrive by 8:15 AM. 
• Students not eating breakfast should be dropped off at 8:30 AM. 
• Morning recess is from 8:30-8:40 AM. The expectation is that students who want to eat breakfast do so in the cafeteria BEFORE going out to recess. 
• The first bell rings at 8:40 AM.  Students are expected to be in the classroom by 8:45 AM for attendance. 

Dismissal Reminders:

• Please review how your student(s) will get home at 3:30 PM. 
• COMING SOON: A new dismissal procedure will be implemented for the 26/27 school year!

Tutoring is a great opportunity to get extra help, ask questions, and build confidence. Students can receive support with classwork, homework, projects, quiz and test preparation, or make up work after an absence. Whether you need extra practice or just want to strengthen your understanding, tutoring is a great way to stay on track and be successful.

Reminders: 

• Morning Tutoring: Students should report to the office area, where staff will direct them to the classroom or contact the teacher for pickup. 

• Afternoon Tutoring: Students will remain with the teacher until afternoon duties are complete. 

• Students are expected to demonstrate ROCKS behaviors before and during tutoring by showing Respect, Ownership, Compassion, Knowledge, and Self-Control.

Recognizing Positive Choices

Students who consistently demonstrate our ROCKS expectations may earn ROCKS Tickets. These tickets can be redeemed at our ROCKS Store for fun rewards and incentives. We love recognizing students who make positive choices and contribute to our classroom community!
