I was born in Chihuhua, Mexico and immigrated to Arizona at the age of three. My first language is Spanish. My experience with learning English as a second language and being bilingual has influenced me to develop a love of teaching English Language Learners. I feel fortunate to be able to impart my knowledge of language acquisition to my students. I have been a teacher for over fifteen years. My teaching experience includes teaching students in Elementary, Jr. High and High School at a variety of schools in the valley. I am excited to join the teaching staff and community of DVUSD. I am looking forward to partnering with parents throughout the school year in an effort to provide students with a positive and successful experience in my class.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Master's Degree in Education Bilingual Endorsement Secondary Spanish
