About the Teacher
Mrs. Scott
I’m Mrs. Scott and excited to work with you and your child. I look forward to getting to know each student as we spend the next several months learning and growing. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I am married and we have 6 children, although 4 of them have reached adulthood. I have 1 son in high school and my youngest son is in middle school. I also became a grandma and look forward to many years spoiling my first grandchild.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from ASU in 1999 with an emphasis in Early Childhood. After a few years of teaching, I went back to school to earn my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Phoenix. I have been teaching since 1999. I taught at Bellair Elementary for 20 years, before starting here at Paseo many years ago. Although I have taught kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade, and sixth grade, by far 1st grade is my FAVORITE! You will also catch me coaching our Cross Country team at meets all over the District!
